The Community Progressive Committee (TCPC), the body that represents the Conference of All Area Community Development Committees (CDCs) in the Agabdo/Okearo Axis of Ifo Zonal CDC, recently presented an award of exemplary leadership to Hon. Fola Salami in recognition of his contributions to community development.
While receiving the award, Hon. Salami expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Executive Governor of Ogun State, H.E. Prince (Dr) Dapo Abiodun, CON, for his support and admiration to the people of Ifo II State Constituency which has yielded significant infrastructural projects.
Hon. Salami emphasized his willingness and determination to continue to push for quality representation for the benefit of all and need to ensure that developmental projects are brought to Ifo II State Constituency after over sixteen years of neglect.
Additionally, Hon. Salami acknowledged the significant contributions of Ogun Central Senator, Distinguished Senator Shuaib Salisu, and Member House of Representatives, for Ifo/Ewekoro federal constituency, Hon. Ibrahim Ayokunle Isiaka towards ensuring that quality representation is maintained.
He commended their diligent work in fulfilling their legislative responsibilities at the federal level, which has positively impacted the community.
The award of recognition as “Community Pillar” highlights the important role Hon. Salami had been able to make towards development of not just Agbado and its environs but Ifo II State Constituency at large especially in the delivery of infrastructure projects like the Ojodu Abiodun – Akute Road, Alagbole – Ajuwon Road, Ajuwon-Akute Road, Giwa–Toyin Road, Agbado – Toyin Road amongst others
