 *CONDOLENCE MESSAGE ON THE PASSING OF RT. HON. ADEWUNMI ORIYOMI ONANUGA (IJAYA)*

It is with deep sadness that we mourn the passing of Rt. Hon. Adewunmi Oriyomi Onanuga, our beloved "Ijaya." She passed away on January 15, 2025, after a brief illness.

A dedicated leader, Hon. Onanuga represented the Ikenne/Sagamu/Remo North Federal Constituency of Ogun State in the House of Representatives, first elected in 2019 and re-elected in 2023. She served with distinction as the Chairperson of the House Committee on Women Affairs and Social Development and was appointed Deputy Chief Whip in the 10th Assembly.

Her unwavering commitment to public service and her contributions to the welfare of others will never be forgotten,she's one of our few role model at the National Assembly. We extend our deepest condolences to her family, colleagues,all good people of Ikenne/Sagamu/Remo-North who were touched by her leadership and kindness. May her soul rest in peace.
